This week I was invited to take part in a Tunisian Collaborative Painting session at the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol.
The idea of the sessions is for a group of artist to work on one canvas, with no planning and in complete silence.
The artists were chosen at random, I was teamed up with two of Bristol’s finest, Jody and Dicy. We painted for 3 hours with Jody picking the lucky brush and having the honour of starting the piece. I really enjoyed this process of working, although it was quite challenging at times. Overall I think we have produced an interesting piece of work.
Big thanks to Luke Palmer (acetone) for the invite.
All work from the sessions will be exhibited at the RWA Bristol throughout February 2019.
